Hi Wim,

>Am so glad you could corroborate my experiences as well, I very often get
>negative answers from readers on this topic.

You're more than welcome. ;)

:) Not everyone knows where the brain stem
or the amygdala is, and cannot tell where
fear is coming from.

>how I have been able to recover the bliss state >as 'irreversible'...

I'd like to hear what you'd want to share
about this. :)

>Bliss that stands on its own...
illusion of suffering...
>This is of course a "non-opposite" as it is illusory.
>Hahaha

:D

Yeah, that was what kept me going after Sat's
shock.

I sensed that there was a solid foundation there
somewhere, underneath the sense screaming,
and seen from that place, no amount
of "suffering" = ego squirming would feel
unsettling or uncomfortable.

At any rate, the ability to take surprising or
uncomfortable experiences have increased.
The fear of death has receded to something
very little, as has the fear of madness.
I have seen through these fears and it is nothing. If the awareness is, then that is
all there is.

One might say, the buffer zone for extreme
emotions has been expanded.
At one point not too long ago I felt I
was no longer human.

>I really like guru bashing, real gurus don't >mind it either :-)

LOL !

I like guru bashing too.

Why would anyone want to be a guru ?

Some ppl seem to like to work towards that
status.

To me that seems like the mark of someone
who's not a guru.

Osho, Free John and Sai Baba never were gurus
in my eyes, only pundits.
And not very good at that either.

>You are so right there, especially about the bliss.... but then something
>new happens when that bliss has become irreversible... who knows, maybe I
>will get into writing more about that...

:) I know something else will happen.

That was what scared me so on Sat. night.

Everywhere I turned the small self and the
big Self met and saw each other.
Big self was so big I ran away from it.
It was very different from the quiet
peace of
the Void, which I always previously have
feared, but no longer does.

It was simply the fear of having to let
go of the mind.
It was a bit sudden, I think I must work
towards getting used to the "thought"
:) of no-mind.

Shakti has made everything go smoothly so far,
doing it little by little.
I must trust that this is the way I will
finally let go too.

>If the
>Buddha were living now (hehehehe:-), he is of course, incarnated as he is in
>everybody, though not all the time recognized :-(,

LOL !

>Neat thing about the Buddha's authentic and ultimate teaching is his(?)
>"Void", that truth is so tremendously neat, it came through at the end and
>culmination of my last mystical vision so well.

I'll try and look that post of yours up in the
archive. Must wait until the weekend
as I won't have time to get to it tomorrow
night.

>About hell...? I do a lot of work during night hours in those realms that we
>used to call hell and purgatory .

Please share what you want to share about this.

I would like to go there too.

Or maybe I'm on my way ? ;)

Some ppl always used to say I'd go to hell
one day. LOL !

>Go with it and enjoy-it-by-not-putting-qualities-on-it, no whining allowed
>in Kundalini Land.

You're right. The obsession and the
complaining about the process is a block
in itself. It adds to the illusion
of it being
a problem whereas it is only a circling back
to oneself, the natural state.
And how can that be negative.

But
I shouldn't talk so much
about it, it eclipses being itself
and that's one reason why I'm less
eager in talking these days.

>Do not be worried too much about that pronoun >"I"

But I don't feel like I anymore.
Not the I as it used to be at least.
I share emotions and thoughts with other
ppl, I sort of become the other I talk with,
and sense their prsonality,
especially if there's a harmonius
interaction.
Even to a small extent the same goes
for animals and to a large extent that goes
for ideas and concepts. I merge with them
and become them.
Almost everywhere attention turns, it merges
with the object in attention or at least
tries to.

I take this to be somewhat like Patanjali's
samyama on the external things.
No one told me it would go automatically
once Shakti had vibrated through the mind-body
long enough.

What a mad mad mad galaxy, eh ? ;)

>The problem we have in the WESTERN WORLD with ego is largely moralistic and
>judgemental, very envy driven.
>Before the protestant revolution in Christianity, the idea about ego was
>different than what it is now, and when they talk about ego in oriental
>traditions not exactly the same is meant with ego as what we in our western
>world understand by it.

You mean the ego in oriental traditions is more
geared towards what we in the West call
"face", i.e. status like money, power,
expensive stuff, title etc.

And that in the West, the "ego" rather
means the feeling of a subjective "I",
a psychological / cognitive entity rather than
a social / economic one ?

>There is a lot of BS in ego bashing. I did write
>quite a bit about that in previous posts

No, I haven't seen those.

>Are you a recent member of this list or were >you a lurker before?

:D It's me, Amanda. I post a lot here.

>Read up on the VOID, the Prajna Paramita Sutra is all about "Form is
>Emptiness-Emptiness is Form." Look it up on the net somewhere. I've got a
>post on it as well.

Thanks for the tip.

I'll search the archives and the net for this
sutra.

>>Oh, by the way, the Ajna chakra is the seat
>>of the ego in higher functions.
>>The ego really is a problem.

>I will send you the posts I wrote on that if you are interested.

Please do, I am interested.

Send what you can, when you can Wim. :)

See you later.

Love,

Amanda.
