Hi Hilary and rest of list.

Thanks for the interesting question.
This must be a difficult question to poll.
:)

To make a straight answer first:
Love had everything to do with the
activation of my K, from day one.

Then the crooked and long answer:

With the susumna open, my childhood was not
one filled with bliss or love, but
fuelled with energy from the 3 lower
chakras.
But when the energy became really noticeable
in the heart chakra, the energy itself was
felt as nothing but pure and undiluted,
unconditonal love.

The energy became noticeable after the mind
had time to sit down and
see how little love there was
in my life, both given and received and
the wish to start a change had been
implemented.

When the energy filled the heart chakra,
it was felt as the physical manifestation of
love, not sexual attraction or erotic
love, but love as a vibration and an
energy in itself, god manifested as love
and loving, caring and healing energy.
The love was interpreted as unconditonal
acceptance, compassion and support.

The in this life never experienced
degree of unselfish and divine love
created a bliss that lasted several months
and carried the ego over the rough seas of
the confusion of awakening and the shock of
knowing the past deeply and intimately.

The love felt deeply disturbing and painful
the first few weeks, like when you rip off
an old bandage that has fastened to your skin.
The worst was being alone with the questions
and the turmoil.
Nothing of this life was encountered, only
old stuff, sometimes going centuries
back. Silly old traumas, nothing of the
romantic popular book past life memories.
Who would have listened to them without
seeing insanity and recommend hospitalization ?

Old boils had been punctured and took
time to heal. But the energy was healing.
Everything of importance the ego thought it
lacked was provided by the energy and
without it during the difficult "start",
who knows what may have happened ?

The energy changed into a different kind of
bliss, from bliss-of-love to bliss of-love-being
-presence later on, but for the awakening itself, it was very important.

The awakening was caused by a vacuum having to
be filled, a lack to be fed.
Kundalini was the water rushing in to
fill this hole.

This is the reason I have always been thankful
and happy for the activation, no matter the weird stuff that happened afterwards.
Kundalini changed a lot that needed to be
changed in my life.

Best regards,

Amanda.
