What interests me regarding the question of those who practice LHP/RHP
Western magick in my experience--not what I read from books but what I know
personally from occultists in both paths--is that interest in Kundalini plays
a greater role in the sexual magick practices of the LHP. Among RHP
magickians, it is generally those who are also healers whom one might find,
for example, on this list.

are those who wants to keep the secret, spiritual teachings, from times
immemorial, within secret societies.
The "left", the liberals, are those who want to reveal the esoteric to the

What is your definition of occultist? There are secretive Orders and open
ones among both left- and right- hand path adherents in the Western systems.
It is usually the LHP who want their magickal information kept secret.

To some people's minds, they are practitioners of "black" magick because the
pain they cause others is of no consequence to others.
