Dear Hillary,

Maybe the reason why I tend to see kundalini phenomena in terms of energy
moving through specific channels is due to my personal k-movie. For longer
than I care to remember, I've had to contend with some extremely unpleasant
sensations at very specific locations within the mind/body system. These are
probably the "blocks" commonly found in k-stories, I think in my case, the
nervous system somehow just closed down in self-protection due to the
initially violent kundalini-activations. So, for years, I've more or less
desperately tried to find ways to loosen and open these closed areas, and as
a result, my mind now seems to automatically turn inwards at all times,
scanning and following the flow of energy - maybe I've become somewhat
oversensitized to this aspect of the process.

The conclusions I've been able to draw from this interior scanning however
seem to fit neatly with the traditional yogic descriptions, but, I admit,
it's all necessarily subjective to a certain degree, all experiences and
interpretations just being part of the big overall thing. There seem to be as
many different types of experience as there are experiencers, and I find it
very rewarding to find out about how kundalini-mechanics work in others.
Puts the own experience into perspective and helps give a clearer picture of
what is truly goin on.

It seems that those with a softer, more harmonious kundalini-activation who
have an "open" system in the first place, experience these things
differently. I've heard of people who've felt that kundalini "rained" back
into their systems, spreading throughout their bodies and vitalizing it
after shooting up through their skulls - maybe your experience of energy
swirling in the whole body is something similar?

Cosmic understandings, yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about, it's a
beautiful experience, it's like "OF COURSE !" -and no more questions...
Whenever it's happened to me, I could distinctly feel a little burst of
kunda-juice going upwards and touching the highest point of the head.

One idea I've sometimes had, is that we, that is all willing
kundalini-people, should maybe at some point try to compile a systematic
database with experiences, remedies, possible explanations etc. One could
then proceed to write the ultimate kundalini reference-manual used in
kundalini sanctuaries all over the world...

Love

Michael
