LOL !

Yes, to me, Tantra looks to be the spiritual
path of life.
One does not need to practice, only give up
thoughts of likes and dislikes and that is
tantra. It is also uncondtional surrender
as well, so... :)

I read somewhere that for tantra practitioners,
"shit will be the same as gold and vice versa".
At first I thought it was a rather strange
saying, but after having pondered a while on
it, I see it has something to it.

Tantra, the art of transgression and surrender.
It has been experienced that samadhi can come
under the most unusual of circumstances,
due to a stoking of the life force.

Traditional teachings will have it that harming
and harmful intent is not conducive for
spiritual practice.
I do not disagree with this at all.

But combat has been seen as just as blissful
as walking along the beach a summer afternoon.
I know this concept is very offensive to some.
I just know the song of god has been heard
in weapons designed to kill the physical
body as well as in the sound of breaking
waves.

So I must agree with you, pain and
destruction can be a part of the spritual path
as much as everything else.
It seems to me to be just a question of
viewpoint and will.
Since no one can live a life without
either destruction or pain,
one can as well try to concur and
surrender to it.
Obviously, this is difficult.
The only constant in life is change.

I think so too. The spectrum of experience
is endless. Stoke the life force and
go with it...

Yes, this is why I suspect this particular
path is difficult.

LOL ! I enjoyed that.
It will be a reminder in the future. LOL !

A friend of mine once told me that his
tantra path involved doing something that
you was afraid of every day.

At first I couldn't see the point in this, but
then it dawned on me that doing something you
are afraid of, is equal to facing it and then
letting it go.
In addition, it means surrendering the ego
and letting go of the mind's likes and dislikes,
exactly what the spiritual path is about
anyway. :)

My friend's story about his tantra practice
in the end became very inspirational. :)

As was your sparrow. :)

Always keep equaninimity, this is what the
scriptures say. One does not know the
outcome of seemingly happy events.
I have experienced this to be something to
keep in mind.

Best regards,

Amanda.
