If I were to post on this list some of the stories I have heard as a
counsellor,
and what I have learned from people who have come to me as clients ..
later to become my friends, I doubt that many would be left standing.
There are people with real problems
that "Love and Light" make angry ..
that "spiritual teachings: send paranoid ...
people for whom the psychology profession has one answer .. drugs ...
and yet I have found from personal experience that many of their stories...
(most of the things I write come from working with people ...)
That "Love and Light", "Spiritual Teachings" etc are merely a "cover up"
for the fact that somewhere, in their own past
are stories the same as these .. that are not safe to look at
particularly because of the code generated into the genetic memory
by scriptural based religions ...
East and West
Spirituality is not something for Sunday morning ...
spirituality is about, first and foremost facing your own paranoia..
because, unless you have done that,
you will never be able to work with any other person
in truth ... yours or theirs
My own personal "mantra" is one I wrote in good old "ausie" vernacular ...
"Enlightenment comes when your "third" eye is at one with your "turd" eye ..
and you can face all of your own shit.
The letters I could place after my name are not to tell the world
that I am qualified as a well versed parrot.
