Hi list,

I've tended to have had various k experiences during sleep time, or
what in many cases becomes `awake while sleeping' time. Is this true
of anyone else?

I can't tell if I've had that samhadi thing or not, though have
experienced various apparently higher or other states of
consciousness. Here is an example from several months back... (I may
have told this on a prior visit, not sure)

I fell asleep and began a dream. In the dream I was kitted out in
jogging atire and was on a road which began on the flat and went up a
hill. It was a vague representation of the hill near to where I live.
I was there pretty much alone so I just ran. I ran up the hill and got
to the top and then decided to run back down, so I did, and then
decided to run back up again even though i was really tired. All I was
focussed on was the running and the joy of it.

The final time that I ran up the hill it turned a corner at the top
(like the real road does) and was now a flat path, though it strangely
merged with a different road nearby. On this road I was just casually
walking along. Off to one side is an area where there are a lot of
bushes, quite thinly dispersed. In some places there were flames
burning. In amongst the bushes I saw there to be a man. He was stuck
for anywhere to turn and looked quite lost, but the thing was that I
could not associate with being him at all. I think he was my ego self
or something.

I continued to walk along the road and came to the place where both of
the roads met. The footpath seemed unusually wide and approaching
along it toward me was a small van. It may have been a purplish
colour. At the steering wheel was a being. It was as if made of
energy, was humanoid but somehow glowing, whitish, very active and had
this ecstatic kind of eager intense look about it, as it drove the van
intending to run me down (in a not unpleasant way). As the van got to
where I was it flattened me and I was steamrollered, and the van had
then turned into an express train which stampeded over my whole body
with tremendous weight, flattening me out totally.

A moment passed and I then seemed to wake up within my bedroom. It was
normal in appearance, nighttime. But I had no thinking ability. I
seemed to rise up from the bed, but it was like I didn't exist, and I
left behind the pancake of identity that had been flattened out. There
was a tremendous feeling of presence. Also there was a feeling of
quietness, and a kind of connectedness like I really totally was not
and couldn't be alone (ie not isolated). My whole being had a kind of
`focus', a great intensity forward pointing. I recall that I went to
the window and wondered to myself if there were aliens outside, and
yet at the same time I didn't have the ability to form an image about
myself. Was as though it were impossible to do anything to `confirm'
that it was me there. I couldn't tell if I was in the waking world or
a dream world, wether awake or sleeping, there or not there. At this
point I seemed to find myself downstairs where a wife, husband and
child, all of a brown-skinned persuasion were stood at the entrace to
the living room, smiling, as if family, and yet I did not know them,
but somehow I did.

It was at about that point that either I snapped out of the altered
consciousness or simply `woke up' back into `normal waking world.' I'm
fairly sure I was probably not in the physical world during the whole
thing.

This and many other strange things have occured during my sleeptime,
and more than once there seems to have been a `kundalini being' that
manifests an appearance. Has anyone else experienced k as a
manifestation in some way?
