No, Martin ...

because I had no idea of what I would find ...
  and I had no expectations of what I would find.

I'm not sure who was the most surprised ...
  me or the client.

BTW ... there is a 'state of mind' (for want of better terminology)
where it is possible to "blank thought" ..
I remember reading somewhere where others have
discussed this ...
I am able to go into a space where I seem (to the observers and EEG)
to totally blank the mind process ... (no-mind)
and in this state, for me, at least, I feel that
  a client would not be able to
  "pick anything up from me"
