My view of "not being attached" to things, the body, and so on, is
rather mixed. On the one hand, if we do not get fully into this world
and this life, will we benefit spiritually or otherwise by being here?
On the other hand, becoming so immersed in the material world and our
daily troubles, we risk forgetting the bigger picture.

So, my plan is to make sure I don't forget that there is more going on
than perhaps meets the eye, but nevertheless to live as full a life as I
am able. To help me, I have developed the mental attitude of treating it
as a game, without, however, trivialising it. Thus, I can chase money,
women, knowledge, entertainment or whatever, and just enjoy it without
being obsessed by it: I win, or I lose. Either way, I'm still alive and
nothing has changed. The *journey* is the reward. And once I'm dead,
should I ever die, well, will I care? I don't think so.
