This present moment
timeless experience of being
where all exists at once
joy, pain, beauty
all experiences merging
forming one experience of being
waves of awareness
passing through
opening the heart
expanding the mind
freeing the spirit
The vase is cracked
I wanna take it back
No, said the keeper
It's gonna make it cheaper
The vase is cracked
I wanna take it back
No, said the Joe
You gotta let it show
The vase is cracked
I wanna take it back
No, said the one
You gotta have some fun
The vase is cracked
I wanna take it back
No, said the light
You gotta learn to fight
The vase is cracked
I wanna make it whole
Oh, said the being
Why didn't you say so?
The grace of love
flows through my heart
through these delicate veins
as thick red iron and water
strong and fragile is life
Simplicity holds truth
without inflating the ego-mind
without getting stuck
on words, on thoughts,
on impressing somebody
and see, I have already gotten
too complicated
for surely
someone will analyze this
and judge it, as I already have
and all this love will be lost on words
Open heart
so simple, yet
so hard
Open heart
but will I be loved?
will I be judged?
will I remain as important
in my own mind as I am
attached to being?
Will I be praised?
will I be genius?
extraordinary?
special?
remembered?
Open heart
will I feel pain? grief? humility?
will I be destroyed?
Open heart
but how do I show the world
the innate, beautiful, miraculous,
awesome existence of God
that we all possess within us?
Open heart
Sure, let the mind flow
awareness expands
we are liberated from false beliefs
a tool, a gift we have been given
this mind
let it flow
just be aware when trying, proving, competing
just watch them
like sweet children
crying out for love
just love them
and rock them to sleep
sing to them and praise them
raise these children to know
they are loved
and don't need to prove their worth
God/Goddess bless us all on our journey to loving ourselves and each other
and to freedom,
