My dear Raja - please note - I have never practiced yoga, have never
meditated. I never sought out kundalini, didn't have a clue as to what it
was, and it happened none the less. I prayed to get rid of it, but to no
avail. It is still ongoing, and the flow of energy is at times
overwhelming, and has been for the past fifteen years. I follow my own
text, my own path that has been lit by the Creative Force of the Universe.

Some of my ancestors were not Indian from India (boy, was Columbus lost),
but Native American who were doing exceedingly well prior to the European
coming to these shores and decimating the population. They were very
spiritual people who loved their families, and all children of the tribe
were their children. They knew about the Merkaba, kundalini, but by
different names. They ate what the Creator supplied them with, whether it
be meat or roots. I follow the path of the Shaman, Medicine Woman. And I
still eat meat, sometimes twice a month, and at other times once a week. It
helps ground me, which is important.

The Aboriginals of Australia are another very spiritual group of people.
They pray for food, and perhaps a snake will present itself on the path,
ready to give its life to feed them. Or maybe a small kangaroo... whatever
is there, they are thankful and thank the animal for feeding them, just as
a vegetarian should thank the plants that gave their lives to feed them.

>Yes, this is a rather absurd set of posts, and the absurdurty falls in the
lap of those that vehemently >support a meat diet. I agree with moderation,
with the ultimate goal of elimination of meat in the diet.
>Have you read "Diet for a New America" by John Robbins? After reading the
book I feel that any sane person would want to minimize and perhaps cut out
meat in their diet.

Then by all means, call me insane. It bothers me not... as for the stage of
growth, if one has attained the stage where they no longer feel it
necessary to pound their keyboards telling people to stop eating meat, one
will live in the sweetness of just being. I neither support a total
vegetarian diet, nor do I support a complete meat diet. What I was saying
is; the argument can go on and on endlessly... it does not solve one
problem but may create some hostility that is not necessary.

>I suppose it depends on ones stage of growth. I feel when one has reached
a certain stage of development a meatless diet will make sense. Before
that stage people can go on endlessly, emotionally defending their diet.

Yes, just as you are doing my dear Raja... walk a mile in my moccasins
before you judge me, I am not judging you - can you not live and let live,
and end this debate once and for all? Please, by all means, follow your
path, and I shall follow mine, maybe we'll meet up at the same place, or
perchance you will arrive there first, if not in this lifetime, perhaps
another.
