Thanks for the interim results.
You're still a hard at work jnani I see. ;))
Here's my answer:

Omnivore (meat eater)

and lover of onions and garlic,
and has a big bad conscience about it.

Actually, the question of not eating meat
has a become more of a question of avoiding
too much bad stuff in meat and other food
stuffs.

I buy "organically grown" (what an oxymoron)
meat and it still tastes like soap
at times
because of all the water they pump into
it to increase the weight.

But it's the same with some vegetables and fruits.
They are clearly sprayed with insecticides
and treated with food colorings, it can be
quite disgusting at times.

Well, it's a good exercise in not getting
hung up in the body. The food sheath will
have to be shed some day anyway.

Due to unfortunate digestive tract
problems, I had
to live on rice and cooked vegetables
for about 6 months.
No salt, no sweet food, no sour food and
no fermented food, no spices at all and
no fruits.

Man, that was hard. :)

All my admiration go to Hinduists who
do carry out the dhal-rice-milk diet to
its full.

Nevertheless, reducing the amount of
garlic and onions eaten would not only
be a benefit to myself but be of practical
ahimsa to others in my breath vicinity as well.

LOLOL ! ;)

Thanks for doing the poll.

Best regards,

Amanda.
