What a wonderful post. Thank you so much.
Personally, I have to talk to my plants as I prune them.
Many years ago I experimented with fertilizer. I used too much once and
burned my garden badly. I tired to flush it out of the soil but succeeded
only in waterlogging everything starting a massive mess of stagnation and
rot. I was explaining the situation to my stepmother one day, talking of how
awful it was to have this rotting still aura around me, talking of how I had
pushed the plants to try to grow faster than their capacity would allow, when
she put her hands to her ears and said: "Stop it! You're talking of them
like they were people!"
Of course, to me, they were.
Maybe I eat meat because I'm a vegetable rights activist ;-)
As to rocks and crystals; long ago I heard: "If ordinary rocks and stones
don't speak to you, don't expect crystals to."
