LOL !!!

Could have been, could have been. ;))

You know, as they say, no meeting is coincidental.
;))

Do you feel connected with Tibet in any way ?

I really like the Tibetan traditions, although
I don't quite see myself as a Buddhist. :)

I still dig yaks (wot ? I'm usually afraid of
cows LOL !) and would love to visit Tibet some day.
:)

With luck, I might be able to get a glimpse of
The Dalai Lama next spring when he is coming
on a oecumenical meeting.
I'll try my best to get tickets to the meeting
or be able to work for the Buddhist group who
invited him here. :)

The life as a yak herder also involved
traveling to a monastery and handing the
white scarf which my father bought
to the four year old lama that was head of
the monastery. :))
Today,I can even smell the heady mix ;)
of yak butter lamps and incense burning when thinking
back.
And I can remember my own smell. ;)

Best regards,

Amanda (now with yaks)
