Thank you very much, Jill ! :))

I'm sure it will be a good time.
Denmark is a beautiful place. :)

I was there last months to and visited a
museum featuring several 19th century statues,
made by French, Danish and German artists
now long deceased. :)

All the statutes
were much larger than life and made in
white pristine marble.
The subjects features were classical Roman
and Greek such as Apollo, David, Mnemosyne
and a host of other mythological figures, all
clad in a minimal dress, revealing lots of
flawless marble skin. ;)

Some of the statues were of Biblical subject and
some subjects were more common than others.
Moses as child, Jesus' return from the grave
etc etc.

They had two versions of The Prodigal Son and
I made one look at one of them and was hit by
Kundalini.
I really had to use force to compose myself,
as the statue of the Prodigal Son kneeling
repentingly and in tears
in front of the father in an admittetly rather
pathos inducing pose ;) now when I look
back, made my ears ring and the knees shake.

I felt as if the artist that had made this
statue had had a glimpse of the insides of
yours truly and that was a rather shocking
experience.

I have always liked art, figurative and non figurative, visual as well as aural,
but I don't think any work of art has had such an
effect before. :)

My god. :))

I'm going back next week to take a nice photo of this
pathos inducing, K stimulating work of art. :)

As an artist, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Best regards,

Amanda.
