I am not quite sure how to answer this. K has been very active and causing
symptoms daily since it began over 7 years ago. In the initial years it
was difficult to go for a few hours without being aware of it, as the
activity produced was very dramatic and almost continuous. It was
difficult to suppress it throughout an entire work day, and there was
radical activity in the car on the way home. By activity I mean involutary
physical movement (kriyas and mudras as well as body shaking and jerking,
performance of unknown asanas, among other things), automatic or involutary
production of sounds, including mantras, singing of mantras, speaking in
unknown languages, loud chanting of Om and other odder stuff, roaring, etc.
These kinds of things are less frequent and milder, but still daily
occurences for the most part. It seems not that the energy has lessened
over time, but the work it is doing has shifted as major blocks were
cleared. Whenever there is a "quiet" spell, that relatively quiet period
is usually followed by a dramatic jump forward into another level of work.
Each cycle produces a period of chaos followed by a greater clarity, and a
shift in symptoms as well as siddhis, or new surprising ways of percieving.

At the beginning. The very first experience, the onset of awakening,
produced an ecstatic state, the "seeing god" experience we all fruitless
try to describe in many ways, and that changed entirely the nature of life
overnight. The first months there were many such states, waking up in the
middle of the night to transcend into ecstasy, or experiencing this during
daytime meditation or a quiet time of normal activity, and these provided
the deep, compelling connection which enabled me to sustain myself through
the hell of major clearing which followed. These experiences were most
profound in the beginning. Later there were occasional visions which were
very intense. But these experiences were followed by intense states of
exhaustion. The ecstatic experiences do not continue, but that is related
to my stopping meditation practices to keep k manageable.

>3. Has your K energy been intermittent.

Not really. There has never been a period when I was not aware of it, when
it was doing nothing, that lasted for more than a day.
It has been helpful to learn how to ground and slow it down through various
activities, diet, etc. My experience is that it has been roaring steadily.
Now, though, I feel there is integration of the energy which fosters a
high level of clear functioning; in the beginning years it felt daily that
life was hanging by a string.

Thanks for the new poll, Hillary!

Jill
