Hi LyN,
This is SORT of related to your comments about how
we all define things (and see things) in our own, individual
way:

I recently heard this story about a marital therapist
who had this husband and wife come in for sessions. Of
course,
the couple argued back and forth in front of the therapist
(you know: "YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING RIGHT" kind of thing).

Anyway, at one point the wife yells at her husband: "And
another
thing: Whenever we have dinner together, you give me the
heel (end) of the bread".

She was obviously very insulted by this gesture.

The husband then says: "But that's my favorite part of the
bread! I save it for you!"

What she found insulting, he found it to be a loving
gesture.
It was a case of misunderstanding and assumptions...

SORT of like the assumptions we ALL have about TIME/SPACE,
etc.

I like to think that now, because of computers, we are in
touch with people from all areas of the globe and that this
experience/communication will bring us more understanding of
each other.
