This is something that really doesn't go with k. For me, even mantras feel
too forceful. When I meditate, I simply fall in trance for 5 or so minutes
(possibly even thinking of something instead of focusing/clearing - those
things are not necessary anymore to ensure a trance state), after which I
come out of it and let k take its own route, knowing that it has been
"fed" a little bit again, and it has become more powerful. I have found
this method to be very useful and the lightest possible (I don't know how
to perform hatha yoga).

Sounds something like my method: "there is no me, there is no kundalini,
what will happen will happen". Helps to undermine the ego-resistance that
likes to create counter-kundalini images/ideas in the mind ("who are
you?"). It's a bit like giving the rudder fully to the central nervous
system, instead of insisting that "I" (ego) have to have the controls
(something many of the "yogis" seem to have preferred: jump around the
block twice, breathe 3-2-3-5, chant "ganthhhhhhhhhh". Please pay on the
counter).

I don't know what qualifies as pranayama, but I have seen that gently
slowing down the breath, and observing (not counting!) the inhalation and
exhalation are usefull methods every now and then.
