Ignorance

I don't think everyone knows literally what is good for ma earth or not. And
I think ignorance IS a pretty good excuse. The ignorant just didn't know any
better at the time until someone mentions it, or you see your world falling
apart. How can there be freedom of choice when there is no other choice but
what you know?

What happens when we do know better -- when we have been enlightened in some
way about some area -- and still do not do what is necessary to balance her
out? Now we are talking laziness? I don't think so. Once we know better,
we know to do what is right -- we NOW have choices to make. Does that make
us do right? Not always. Why? Because we are still ignorant. Now we know
what is right, and we want to be helpful... but we don't know what to do, how
to do it, etc etc. We are ignorant of something else, BUT a wee bit smarter
than our previous ignorance. And now we have guilt and fear added to our
ignorance. :-)

Once we realize we now can be helpful or harmful, then this is good. We will
always go for the good over the bad. But, good or bad, helpful or harmful,
are NOT the ultimate choices to make that will make a difference. Until we
know exactly what our choices are in the *good & helpful* category... what it
is we actually MUST do, to make a difference for the better in our life and
the lives of the world.... we won't be able to do a thing but choose to do
nothing, which is the best we know how at the time. We do nothing because
we are afraid -- we are lying in that crappy state between being wanting to
be helpful but still doing harm, and cannot dig ourself out by ourself.

So it's not about telling people to make the right choice to do no harm - we
kinda always want to do that once we know there is a better way -- It's about
telling the people exactly what it is that needs be done. The *ignorant* or
*lazy* are merely babes... they need to be taught... step by step.

You truly want to make a difference in the world? Teach these babe's that
know they have a choice exactly what to do. You will find they ARE
willing... and the one's who are ignorant are the ones doing the
name-calling, and are too lazy themselves to have the patience to take the
time to do this.

And then we find out they were just babe's too.

Still digging after all these years,
xxxtg
