Angelique, this is a wonderful idea. Your vision has tremendous
appeal for me and sounds like exactly the type of thing my friend so badly
needs. l can just imagine a center like this in an awe inspiring place like
BC, and l wish it were here now, but unfortunately..... Yes, it would be a
huge task to manifest something like this and would indeed require loads of
money and help. lt is a considerable advantage that a land grant is
possible. l would think that this would need to be nonprofit with tax
exempt status in order to make it attractive to potential donors. lt would be
highly unlikely to ever make money anyway. ln the US getting tax exempt
status is a pain in the ass ( a client of mine asked me to do it as a favor
once--after reading all the crap that had to be done, l begged off), but l
think you'd need it unless you're privy to info l'm unaware of. l really
hope you can achieve this some day. jerry
