About the chakras being represented as male and/or female.
Maybe you could, rather than have them human, have them
animal as in lions, tiger and bears (o my!) That way you
could get away from the male/female
thing (which I don't like because the chakras have no
gender). Since Kundalini is protrayed as a serpent, why
not go for the rest of the animal kingdom? Heart is the
lion, for example. And there wouldn't be a problem having
them talk....I have great conversations with animals myself!
