Question: kundalini itself always starts rising from where - base of the
spine or behind the navel? I've always experienced the base of the spine.
Another question: kundalini awakens chakras in whichever order it wants
regardless of where it starts rising from?

Hello Dan,
Just based on my own experience of the last 7 yrs, l'm unable to say
that k "always"does anything, which may mean l'm not the best one to respond
to your questions. My k awakened at ajna (where it continues to be most
active) and after that l've felt its activity in all the other chakras, but
in no particular order or sequence. My own sense is that k can rise from
wherever it wants and can open chakras in whatever sequence it wants,
although this may not be the norm. l think the basic movement of k is upward
and that it generally wants to rise. jerry
