LOL!! Yes, it is true that many paths believe the experiences of K.
ought not be given attention, however here we talk about 'em. That's the
point of the list.. to talk about experiences.. :)
The thing is, someone in the east who dreams about a cobra, already knows
the context of the symbolism and doesn't need to ask. They don't need to
talk about it coz the meaning is self-evident.
Folks having experiences in the west, that are of Eastern symbolism need
interpreters because the symbolism is so different. A poisonous serpent is
not a positive symbol in western conceptions. In western culture, folks
need to talk about their experiences and find others with similar
experiences to be reassured that they are not going crazy.
Some experiences can be pretty intense, and sharing them with others and
getting different perspectives can be very grounding. Experiences that
cannot be ignored need to be released or they can become obsessions.

>This tends to block the energy of the actual experience.
Well, repressing it and ignoring the experience can be blocking it,
too.. dreams and visions often carry important information to guide the
seeker on the path.

Westerners dreaming of death symbols usually need a hand to hold before
they can find gratitude.. just like a woman in labor needs someone to hold
hands with, someone to remind them that the pain won't be forever..]
We are healed, thru each other.. so St. Germane told me..

There is a country and western song that says "you're gonna find your
way to Heaven is a rough and rocky road, if you don't stop and smell the
roses along the way..".
