No, not nitpicking. Interpretation=perception.
I came across that quote, and it is interesting: He blessed Peter for his
perceptions, but he does not otherwise validate them, any more than he
validated the other perceptions...
Reminds me of a story: I was working with someone, teaching him to hear
his inner guidance. I told him to ask his guidance what I am.. Guidance
told him that I am Goddess Infinite Light manifest in flesh. (something
like that..)
He was awed and amazed at this information, and his guidance expressed it
so eloquently, I told him to write it down and sign it. I let him
contemplate the magnitude of this wondrous information for about 20
minutes, while he washed the Manifest Goddesss' dishes.. :)
When he had gotten accustomed to his awe, I led him thru another series
of questions to his guidance, so he could discover that the trash can was
Goddess Light manifest as steel, and the linoleum was Goddess manifest as
Vinyl, the dirt and the dishes was Goddess manifest as dirt and dishes and
soap and water.. and he was Goddess Light manifest as a guy who did my
dishes.. :)
We can only see in another, what is manifest in ourselves.. Peter is
blessed because he sees the reflection of his own Divinity, in Jesus.. the
next passage is the prophecy that Peter will found the church, that light
within him will make a foundation of faith.. it will ripple thru the
hologram.
When folks see Goddess in me, I tell them they are blessed.. coz what
they see in me, is a reflection of what they are. If they can see light in
me, then they can learn to see it in everything... they are blessed...
What Goddess is cannot be held by the limits of a name: the infinite is
nameless.. so no name the Disciples provided, could contain what Jesus
was.. and he did not validate perceptions that were not infinite... altho
he did surrender to "service to other" to validate prophecy.
