Subject: [K-list] With regard to ego.

Namaste Brothers and Sisters,

Ego and attachment are in the end the same thing. For
the mind goes out and identifies with objects and
builds this illusory feeling of Ego.

 A child talks in the third person before it's Ego is
stabilised. Perhaps we should learn from that. It
seems that desires and ego are one and the same thing.
A phantam feast for a ghost.

The ego's unreality is shown by it's desire to
continually reinforce itself. To convince itself that
it really exists and is a person. All these belong to
me therefore 'I' must exist, see here is my photo, my
job, my awards etc. They relate to me, so see I exist.

So ego is really a case of false identification with
the body and its attachments and desires. Other than
that it does not exist. There is nothing to integrate.
The only thing to be integrated is awareness not ego.
For awareness is part of the Reality whereas ego is
illusory.
 Is not the rise of K the rise or integration of
awareness. Where is the ego there? The associated
sensations are cleansing prana, not awareness per se.
It is just happening is it not?

attachment to outside objects. With desire for the
world cut, ego automatically vanishes." Swami, (Sai
Baba).
