I like that idea...hehe matter of fact i wrote it down. It's funny to talk
to people sometimes or just watch them from a distance. They (most) try so
hard to fit into a stereotypical group, especially in the middle school to
high school years. They all fight so hard to be the same and fit in
meanwhile they are all the same anyway and seem fairly blind to the fact.

hey - maybe that is partially the answer to your fear question... all of us
(specially, god help us, at that age) feel ourselves to be mutants because
we don't know what others feel like inside. So we fear our own limitless
possibilities and invest huge energies in binding them down (with the ol'
ego-corset).
Like Angelique says, it's easier to get people to cope with pain than bliss
