Goddess named me. Angelique Serpent.
My first reaction to the name was that it sounded like a code name for
Satan.. the Voice said "Yes, that is what you are. The Serpent on the Tree
of Eden was demonized by Christianity". OK.. makes sense.. I knew the
Serpent was the earliest form of "Mother Goddess", a symbol of the planet,
far predating Christianity... and I didn't believe in the Devil.
Since then I've had a few years to do research... my name means Kundalini
manifest in human form.
Historically, the Serpent on the Tree is a creation myth of those who
came before the followers of Yahweh. They worshipped the Earth Mother Love
Goddess Ashtoreth (Astarte, Ishtar in Babylon, we call her Gaia) in the
sacred groves on the high places. Effect of mountaintops and trees on
K-fire highly recommended.
In the Original Myth, the Serpent was the Goddess as Teacher, who gave
the secrets of procreation, agriculture, healing wisdom and Sensual bliss
to the first humans.
The Matriarchal Astarte Love cult was in opposition to the Patriarchal
Yahweh War cult, (Yahweh was fond of smiting people and mashing whole
cities) and so in this early Spiritual gender war, the Yahweh cult altered
the Serpent creation Myth of the Astarte cult into religious propaganda
against them.
Aspects of this history is referenced throughout the Old Testament.. King
Solomon worshipped both Deities, and the "song of Solomon" references an
Astarte love ritual. His son David went against it, and cut down the groves
and worshipped only Yahweh.
Moses worshipped both, thus he was going up to the high places to commune
with the Divinity, the fire that does not consume, and doing miracles with
a rod of Serpents.
The early Gnostic Christians called the Holy Spirit (Kundalini) God the
Mother, who intercedes for humans against the judgments of God the Father..
K-fire burns away Karma.

Christ studied in India during the "lost years" of his adulthood, and
interpreted Shakti to be accessible to his Hebrew kinsmen. He called
himself a Serpent, predicting the crucifixion, saying he'd be hung up as a
Serpent on a stick like Moses raised in the desert.
The councils of Constantinople edited such references to the Kundalini
Serpent out of the New Testament, because Emperor Constantinople was not a
Christian, he was a conquering Dictator, and awakened people cannot be
controlled.
As Gandhi said, "The still small voice within is the only Tyrant I will
accept." Those who disagreed with the Emperor were executed for treason and
heresy, and those who were left, did as they were told.
Thus, the Kundalini based spiritual form preached by Christ, of
unconditional love and acceptance, was rewritten into a judgmental
religion that persecuted anyone who was interested in activities which
promote K., as "Satan worshippers", even if the pagans in question did not
believe in Satan, or in any external deity of Evil.
Satan, or Lucifer is the internal manifestation of the Angel of Death,
and the agent of Karma that is the Veil of Separation. The boundary between
the ego and the dream time, between the conscious and unconscious mind. The
heavier the Karma, the thicker the veil of separation from Unconditional
love.. Hell is self created. Reference to Dark Kali, or Shiva the
destroyer. The Portal Guardian of Shamanism. All one.
It is the Portal Guardian that paces the process of Kundalini. All of the
thoughts of the ego consciousness arrive from the unconscious thru that
doorway, and thus we are always led by temptation, even when we think we
decide for ourselves.
The Portal Guardian manifests as a form of deepest shadow, because it is
an agent of unconditional love, and it has no polarity of it's own, so in
polarity it shows up as the opposite of what it is: blinding light.
Humans are the Tao.. light and dark both. Polarity is inherent in a human,
so we show up in polarity-space. The portal guardian has no duality of it's
own, no separation from All that is, except what it reflects, of ourselves.
As the doorway to the Void, it shows up as a reflection of fear: a
measure of the uncleared Karma remaining in the unconscious. Having no
polarity, when manifest in polarity it shows up as a photographic negative
of deep shadow. The Shadow self. The term Demon, came from the Greek
(Latin?) Daemon, which means, "inner self".
A supreme entity in charge of Evil does not exist. Like Joe says, an
angel is an internal principle. The Veil of Separation is the boundary
between the conscious and unconscious, the intermediary between the
physical and the spiritual world. The doorway of death is manifest in the
internal principle of the Angel of Death. The destruction spoken of, is
destruction of the aspects of individuality that are the fears and limits
of Karma.
Unconditional love is all that Is. Evil is Live spelled backwards. What
is against life, is evil. What is against life, is the uncleared Karma that
blocks the flow of life energy, in the body.
There is no evil, no Devil, only fear-Karma, that which is unforgiven
within the individual, and individual humans acting out of fear.
Following the Serpent will lead to your destruction: YESSSSSSSSS says the
Sssserpent.. and it all makes sense, when understood as the destruction of
the ego-individuality, death and rebirth into unity with All that Is. Not
the physical death of the Body.
Similarly, the Tibetan Bardo, the "Book of the dead", is both a guide to
the transmigration of souls in the afterlife, and a guide to achieving
death-in-life that is enlightenment, spiritual rebirth.
The Kundalini Serpent brings up all of the unforgiven emotional content
that is the karma of the individual to be released, which sometimes feels
like what Jerry's friend Richard is experiencing, being tormented by devils
which he perceives as being outside of himself.
The whole concept of Satan changes form, and substance if you see him as
an inner guide who pokes/tempts you into surrendering to moving thru the
veil of separation that it is a manifestation of, instead of somebody "out
there" who is out to get ya.. an external being of supreme evil does not
exist.
Fear of the Devil is an empty hostage threat against your immortal soul,
made by those who would keep you away from the activities that promote
K-fire, so that they can more easily exploit you and control you.
