This series of exchanges has been a classic case of work by an evolved
human triggering rage in those with whom the evolved one comes into
contact. In Masters on the Path (Leadbetter ?sp.), there's a short
piece that states the a master's effect on the ego of a student is
often "catastrophic."
Now this comment may spawn another whole bunch of spam but the fact is
that triggering emotional explosions is part of the path work and we
all consistently and constantly come across individuals who mirror to
us what we need to work with. I'm no exception in what has been
mirrored to me that I've had to learn and for someone who was a totally
closed up and battened down human, what had to be mirrored at me before
I was finally goaded into exploding was really something. So what I
learned was that I can do it the easy way (which you get the chance to
do first) or I can do it the hard way (which follows after I refused to
do it the easy way). It's just a bit deja vu and oddly comforting to
watch it happening to others. This is in no way meant to make anyone
feel worse. It's hopefully a comfort for others to know this is often
par for the course. It doesn't have to be this way but sometimes it is.
