Hello Serpent-powered Ones!

I find it very interesting to see how many of us have had kundalini-related
experiences in association with some type of drug. In a way it's comforting
to me as well, since for years I used to entertain and suffer from the
misconception that true spirituality implied rigorous discipline only - I
just couldn't bridge the two aspects of myself, the definitely spiritual
experiences and insights and then the person that had had his initial
mind-blowing experience due to an intoxicant...

It seems the universe at this time is doing just that, stretching, expanding
and perhaps ultimately destroying the ego and all its limiting beliefs of
more people at once than ever before in history - with whatever tools seem
to be available

As for homeopathy and kundalini, I met a woman once who had triggered the
kundalini in herself by using a homeopathic remedy. She seemed to be in a
pretty bad state and I think she then went on to Rishikesh in India to find
treatment with an experienced yogi who eventually helped her.

Which brings me to my final little point : while in India, somebody explained
the true meaning and definitions of the deities in a beautiful and relatively
simple manner to me :

there are basically two ways of looking at the Life and the Universe

God is all there is and there is nothing outside of God. God in all
His/Her/Its magnitude does five things and five things only (and outside of
this nothing is ever done).

God creates. God maintains and preserves whatever has been created. God
destroys whatever has been created, so that something new can be created
instead. God hides the true meaning of life and His/Her/Its true identity.
God unveils the true meaning and identity of life and everything in it.

God as such is called Brahman. God in the creating aspect is Brahma, God in
the maintaining and preserving aspect is Vishnu and God in the destroying
aspect is Shiva.

All these tasks are performed through the cosmic energy which is personified
in female form. So we get the consorts of the male deities: Saraswati as the
wife of Brahma, Lakshmi is the wife of Vishnu and Kali or Durga being the
consort of Shiva.

The second way of looking at the same reality (there is only ONE reality,
whatever we may think - it's just the thinking that creates many different
realities - stop thinking and everything becomes clear - almost...) goes
something like this:

God is pure consciousness and as such is absolutely still and at rest, just
observing creation. God in this aspect is also called Shiva ( a lot of
confusion arises because the word "Shiva" is used with two different
meanings).

Creation is done by the cosmic intelligence or holy spirit. Everything that
is created and has a name or a shape or form is made out of the same
primordial energy (planets, humans bodies, extraterrestials, dogs, cats, my
old socks, thoughts, emotions - EVERYTHING.) This is God in the form of
energy or Shakti. Another name for this Shakti is Kundalini. Ultimately Shiva
and Shakti are one, i.e. consciousness and whatever is perceived whithin
consciousness is one, matter and spirit is one.

We as humans are the universe on a smaller and individual scale, the same
basic blueprint applies to us as well...

Thank you for enduring this little bit of soap-box pontification, but it felt
as if it might maybe serve some constructive purpose somewhere

Michael
