This is very interesting. What about other drugs, people? Hallucinogens,
opiates, alcohol, stimulants? Here are some of my own experiences:

I have tried GHB (gamma-hydroxy butyrate, "liquid ecstasy") once during K.
I felt that the k was flowing absolutely freely from my crown outwards,
and I was extremely euphoric. After that I felt lightheaded,
depersonalized and uncomfortable for a week. Not recommended. Okay, I
admit I had taken some benzodiazepines prior to taking the GHB, which
might explain *why* I chose to take the drug.

Alcohol (tried a few times) makes me stupid, shuts out all "higher"
cognition, spirituality in particular, makes me feel unspiritual for
several days. Crappy substance.

Cigarettes I have enjoyed a bit, but they make me physically sick so I
don't like them either.

I feel that eating lightly (rice, potatoes, lettuce, dark bread) leaves me
in the pleasant spiritual high I have before eating (augmented by hunger),
while food that seems to more effectively remove the hunger (meat) also
turns the energy flow down a bit.

I feel that indulging in wrong types of food (pizza and potato chips are
probably the worst, also all fatty beverages) increase the psychological
inertia to the extent of being uncomfortable. Perhaps this has something
to do with the fact that fat reduces testosterone levels.

Yoghurt rules supreme. K created a huge craving for yoghurt in me, and I
have found this craving to be harmless. Yoghurt never lets me down :-).

Red wine? Like I wrote earlier, I have found ethanol to be a most
unpleasant substance when k-active CNS is concerned.

The best grounding method there is is Valium. Can't buy that from your
local shop, though.
