I don't follow you.
I was under the impression that mtDNA
had nothing to do with DNA, but only
with the mitochondria itself.
I know that this is only passed on
through the female line, but it comes from you mother
and barring mutation is identical to hers.
Right? Of course we all know that sex is determined
by the male line. Please be kind enough
to explain in greater detail what you are indicating.
I really don't understand it.
