Hello the list,

This is a long post answering your mails, with my thanks.

It was a pleasure to write it, so thanks again.

Stephanie asked :
- Do you mind my asking why you want to be k active ?

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

I always wanted to work my weak points. But with a kind of
philosophy, not to be ‘the best in the world. ‘The best in
my flat´ is enough for me. Now, one of the most difficult
point to overcome for me was intellectual limitation due to
poor average memory. The idea that Kundalini might be the
next evolutive step is very interesting, because it should
explain a lot of things. For exemple the crisis when you are
45-50, when it seems the way you see at life is modified.
And what for if you are not ready ? So Kundalini raising
might be one answer.

Kundalini is said to improve perception and memory. But the
way it is described in the 4 or 5 autobiographies that exist
in english language, let me think that it is also like a
kind of new youth. At least a new youth through this state.
Perhaps you know that photographic memory, also called
‘eidetic memory´ is much more frequent in children from 4 to
12, and from then on tends to disappear.

So I shouldn´t be surprised if Kundalini was linked to a new
way to perception, and by the very nature of perception, to
memory.

But Stephanie´s question goes further than that. In my
personal history, I was naturaly good at nothing. I was
afraid of the void, so I became a mountaineer for a while,
sleeping on vertical walls (up to two days in a row while
climbing). I was impressed, when spelunking, to see the
divers disappear and us just looking at the water closing
down on them, when they disappeared to explore further. So I
became a sump diver. And so on. I thought I was unable to be
good at management so at thirty, I got a diploma in
management, going back to courses in our Chamber of
Commerce.

In that state of mind, looking for Kundalini is a
philosophical quest. It´s not a Graal, it´s a tool to
improve my (green, fresh, naïve, childish, adult ?) quest
for new Graals. And I think there are dozens of these hidden
here and there. It is I suppose the kind of energy I need to
go over my blockages (I could have said that in one sentence
;-))).

And as we can say about children : when they do that, they
are quiet !

My list of things to do when K-awakened :

- write funny books ! ! !

- Publish them directly in english.

- Re-read all the books I naively think I have understood
(that counts for many years).

- Cast a new light on a lot of things I lived, and have to
re-interprate.

- Think out an efficient way to share and spawn positive
ideas through writing books. My name De Schryver, means ‘The
Writer´ in flamish (north Blegium language).

Mystress Angelique Serpent asked :
- What makes you think you are not awakened?
  Blessings..

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

This one is unexpected.

Kundalini is the Indian word, and is connoted with some
violence and negative side effects. But chinese and japonese
people, with the Chi notion, come to the same results,
without the drawbacks.

So perhaps I am slightly Chi awakened, because :

- I survived many situation when I should have died
(climbing, drowning).
- I saw people dying and was not negatively affected (I
could help when necessary).
- I never had a nightmare since 1980 though dreaming a lot.
- Two or three times I had to defend myself and time slowed.
I went through without becoming wild myself.
- I can laugh at myself (this one is a good one ! Some
should say it helps to survive).
- I have a good breath retention (apnea) which is supposed
to be a positive element for Chi.

Nevetheless, this is I suppose common to many people.

And being a little Chi awakened is not being K-awakened.

But as said Louis Pasteur ‘Discovery gives its favor
preferedly to the prepared mind´. And this is why, as asked
Stephanie, I am specifically looking for Kundalini. A
prepared mind might know what to do with it, even though the
aims could be modified through the induced knowledge or
(alleged ? ;-) ) wisdom.

-Although its possible for everyone to find K if you look
too hard you lose sight of whats imporant in the experience
(higher spirituality...not the seemingly cool stuff that
comes along with K) and you wont be able to receive the K in
the way that it is intended.

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

This is very true.

It is difficult for me to ‘let it go´, and this is what I
need most.

I have elaborated on that. Just like when I avoided a
drowning accident in Saint Martin to 2 friends of mine who
wanted to swim against the current. ‘Just do like me, let it
go´. What we did because they knew me. And we are alive,
though we finally were slightly ass-burnt by fire-corals.
The current did what it had to do, but not against us. Nice
sensation to be floating wood adrift instead of a wreck
;-)).

By letting it go, I followed my wife Linda to another city,
and to India, which was not at all my own choice. But she
had followed me to Paris and I now live with her in
Strasbourg. And it was this letting it go which, from India,
brought me to know about Kundalini.

Nevertheless, letting it go is just for me as difficult as
for a round-bellied weight-lifter to go through a narrow
restriction in a cave. Your mind is not always convinced it
is really good to do so. Kind of contextual shyness...

- Sorry to sound this way, but there are, you should know,
horror stories associated with K awakenings.
Psychosis...suicides...etc., etc. K awakens itself in people
who it wants to give itself to. You have to understand this.
You won't get K unless you capable of getting it. Of course,
'everyone' is capable. But there are those that are more
than others. Maybe you just don't have the tendency toward
it, alot of it's hereditary, it runs in families. It
is genetic.

Not to sway you. It can be a lovely thing, and for me it's a
gift, in the beginning it seemed like a horrible curse that
would never go away. But just be aware of the risks that are
associated with it and the 'kriyas' and the
'abilities' that set you apart from the norm crowd. Do not
seek it for the wrong reasons.

You might need to receive Shaktipat. Or it might just help
you get activated by being around K-active people, it might
rub off, might not.

Didn't I just do something self-defeating by telling you
that?

Blessings,

Greta

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

I just loved this post.

It explains a lot of things that have to be explained.

I just belove horror stories and I wont miss this one.
Mainly if it is mine. Boys will be boys ;-))))

The Dalaï Lama once said it takes about 12 years to awaken
Kundalini in a voluntary process, thinking mainly to it. So
it is a way. A Way. And I´ll go through it my own way.

And then the danger should be that, in a climax of humor,
when just enlightened, I should just discover who I am
really and then ‘suicide from self-disgust´.

Lol, great destiny, with total honnesty. Gods from various
parts of the universe should be laughing at this one for
many centuries. I like the idea.

I could write a short story on that.

Now, if Kundalini is hereditary, I will help my descendants
to get it by getting it myself. Genetics begins with one,
doesn´t it ? It will be a ‘hereditary self induced tendancy
to look for Kundalini´. If I succeed. I prefer to work for
it than to get it by chance (perhaps because I didn't).

So Greta´s post is interesting for it is just like the
christian notion of ‘grace´, with Pascal and the jansenists
thinking that God gives his grace to whoever he wants.

By the way, to understand Kundalini, I am reading back Ste
Therese d´Avila, St John of the Cross and even Auguste
Poulain, a jesuit who wrote ‘Des Graces d´Oraison´, a little
known 602 pages book from 1906 about... guess what ?
Kundalini !

These jesuits went around the world, and know more than they
say.

Of course, it is obvious that, till I succeed, Greta is
right. And if I succeed, she wont be wrong. It means that
there are many a way to go to Roma.

- Hi Jacques how are you? I guarantee if you learn TM (for
the right reasons) it will awaken your kundalini.

Cannot say more except to explain it takes you beyond
thought (into Unified Field) effortlessly!

Because it is effortless it is so powerful! It also prepares
the nervous system to sustain waking state of consciousness
simultaneously with the Transcendental state (of Being).

I only recommend it if you feel drawn though .... maybe I
should not have spoken.

I trust the universe will bring you your gift in a happy
way. (I also find myself asking .. are u sure it is not
active? Why do u think you are drawn here if it isn't? I
suspect it may be .. but I do project at times).

Thanks Col,

This is exactly what I did !

I like the ‘void´ of TM.

Really washes me out.

Kind of gardening before spring to prepare the earth.

ps ..here is a visualization I have ben doing that really
kicks k in...I go
to Mystress's grounding site and do it... then when I get to
the part about
"time to wake the serpents" I visualize the light and
warmth waking up the
snakes( I visualize real snakes coiled up there like
sleeping) and the
snakes slowly uncoil and start slowly climbing and
spiraling( it is a pretty
erotic feeling actually) up my spine unitl they come out of
my crown and
their tails down into the earth..it is pretty great feeling
like i can
actually feel their bodies inside ... pretty cool, it seems
to work well for
me...

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

I use something similar.

I got it from a book by a tibetan monk who suggested to
meditate visualizing a candle flame one inch under the
navel. The spiraling works fine too. That allowed me to
render my spine and thorax conscious of their potential. I
get a lot of different sensations from there now. Some as
powerful as a finger (not yet a hand) massaging.

Last but not least, an idea from Stephanie :

Perhaps you could ask the group on the k list to send you a
shaktipat blessing at a scheduled internet time, and that
would probably be enough
juice to kick your k going. Just a thought. I have heard
the k sex list does things like "love bombing," so why not
"shaktipat bombing?"

Please do post some of your list ideas. Some of us could
benefit from them I am sure.

Peace be with you,

Stephanie

ATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospamATnospam

Great idea,

Send your gifts to my soul.

Longing and yearning for that,
_______

To conclude, I notice that none till now wrote back and said
:

I did it on purpose.

So, I think that if I should awaken my Kundalini (and not
slightly my Chi) perhaps I could bring my contribution to
this list, by explaining the different tools I used. And
then help those who wish to go deeper into the understanding
of the phenomenon to explore further these mainly unmapped
lands.

Greetings from France,

Froggy Jacques
(sounds better than Toady Jacques, doesn´t it ?)
