I don't see it that way, but I do believe it is one of the greatest works of moral philosophy ever written. What's more, I see the slightly elliptical style of Jesus in the Gospels (the parable thing) as a very interesting approach to solving one of the central problems of the philosophy itself - it cannot be taught, it has to be discovered (many are called, few are chosen etc)
