Are you asking how someone would be given shaktipat? If this is your
question, it can be given in many different ways.

It can be given by the guru with a tap of a feather to the head
(ostrich, I think); a touch to the third eye with a sacred object; or
having the guru's hands placed upon both shoulders. There may be many
others, but this is from my own experience only.
