Subject: [K-list] What about Prana and the Patalas?

Namaste Brothers and Sisters,

I have been playing the 'devil's advocate', a little I know. This is
because of my perception of what K is. Some people I feel mistake Prana
for K. I know ultimately it is one but even prana is broken up due to
it's function, apana etc. It is possible to hit one's chakras with
prana and get a sensation/activation but this is not Inner K. For
strong and safe arousal of K a Guru is absolutely necessary otherwise
bad things can happen. For example what if the arousal goes down to the
animal sensation chakras of the lower Lokas/patalas instead of going up
the spine. The Lokas/patalas are centres below the Muladhara! down to
the feet! as you probably know. We all know about the other dangers
associated with K arousal. Some may have risen K up the spine to the
higher Chakras by the own effort, but invariably it descends again and
can bring despondency. This is why the Guru and spiritual method is
safer and permanent. Some people on activating Chakras by-pass the
Heart Chakra almost altogether. So producing the intellectual,
heartless society we now have. Ramana Maharishi said that the Sahasrara
isn't the ultimate, for after reaching that Chakra the K should return
and abide in the Heart Chakra.
