What does this mean? " I was lucky enough to kick my way out of it."
I experience severe panic. No doubt self imposed, as you say, as are
most of my discomforts. And they are rooted in fear, I dont experience
anger however, as you seem to have.
Also, in what ways do you think "K was definitely
involved both in setting it up and getting rid of it."

I am trying to find a way out, I could, but wont use medication.
I do and have "gone with it" and have found answers to the fear, but
still the panic returns.
Traditional therapy is out of the question, this opened the door to the
panic in the 1st place.

I am very lucky to have found a way to remain a funtioning unit of both
my household and in a small way the world outside my home,
I have no fear of open spaces, I only fear people.

I dont think our situations are much alike, still I would be interested
in anything that has worked for you, not what you heard or read, I hear
and read alot about it myself also,
and here I sit, waiting for darkness to put the 'others' to bed and I
can have my time 'out there'

PS alhough my panic is rooted in fear, I disagree that fear is "It's a
useless reaction." FOR ME, it has both been a blessing and a curse. Like
pain, fear points 'to' something that is out of whack.
