You are very very lucky (or unlucky losing that much
sleep ;) ) to be able to be outside at that time. :)

Patanjali often mentions the increased
general prana present during sunrise (the time when
the ha and tha are in balance according to yogic
scriptures) and I find there is definitely a beautiful
calm to sunrises.
