As a Reiki II, I'm going to have to disagree on a point made here. Kundalini
and the universal energies that Reiki use are not the same. I mean, energy
is energy, but K is each person's divine spark or seed as it were. Reiki
calls down the healing energies of the divine from without, channeling thru
the practitioner.
The object for the practitioner is to "step back" as much as possible so as
not to interfere with the energy flow. Kundalini does not direct Reiki
flow. But it might affect the practitioner's ability to clear themselves on
one or many levels to provide Reiki.
This ties a bit into the prayer discussion of late. Reiki has taught me one
thing dramatically, and that is that intent is key. When I do distance
healings with Reiki, I liken it to prayer, which I define as sending loving,
non-judgemental thoughts/energy to a person for the greatest good of all
concerned. Whatever one calls it, the power supply is intent. At least I
think so! LOL!
