Dear Amanda,

Feel great.. as I have been able to effectively communicate to you about
how I feel about prayer. My idea in initiating the topic was to raise some
dust.. disturb some.. drive home some clarity in the way one thinks.. and
the important of all is to gain a link to discuss purposefully. You are one
such link.

I appreciate my first lesson in psychology that "Each Individual is Unique".
This has entered in to my heart the day I first learnt.

Now thinking on prayer afresh:

The seeds of birth are sown at the time of Death itself. Thus the cycle of
birth starts from death.

On death the soul which is in the form of Cosmic energy is released and then
the same wanders in the open sky. For the realised souls, the birth/death
cycle ends. But for the rest of us the journey of birth and death continue,
by descending on earth through rains, enter living body already existing, in
the form food. We reincarnate to shed off certain effects that we attracted
here and purify ourselves before we begin our journey to our source from
where we were all pure and perfect.

Millions of souls in the living body get activated by the action of the
mind in the living body to enter the system of reproduction cycle of birth.
These souls, before the activation of the mind, are aware of their true
nature and the evolution levels, which state is called "CHITRALEKHA". But
the very souls on activation of the mind become "CHITRAGUPTA"- a state of
ALL PERVASIVE IGNORANCE.

There while in this body we are all ignorant-of true nature of ourselves.
For us past is unknown and future is unknown. All our knowledge acquired in
this life through the mind's experience is unreal.

Prayer too is an experience. Prayer gets intensified with the fire of fear
of uncertainity. All prayers basically is to get better off or not lose
what is owned. If some people claim that they do not fall under either
category, then why pray ?

Reaching the higher and higher levels of awareness during one's life is the
very purpose of life and the highest level is to break the cycle of
birth/death.

Limitation is other side of Expansion(Awareness). The limitation misleads,
takes us away from our infinite state and brings us all the sorrows,
ignorance etc. Only when we understand the limitation which has obstructed
our life all these days can we think of coming out of it to expand our real
state. PRAYER SHOULD NOT BECOME ONE SUCH LIMITATION.
We tend to perceive higher dimensional beings in an emotional vaccum; while
we can hardly keep afloat in a whirlwind of feelings too powerful to
control. Higher dimensional beings come to us knowing both are worthy of
respect. We often go to Spirit feeling guilty and inadequate (While we
pray !!!!). These different sets of assumptions make it hard to
communicate. Our rejection of our own divinity is a tremendous barrier to
overcome.

The Source is the highest energy field, while the physical dimension is the
lowest, the emotional dimension is the second lowest and the mental
dimension is the next above that. While in meditation we can align the three
lower energy bodies with our spirit bodies and consciously allow spirit to
flow freely throughout our beings. We can actually experience ourselves as
primarily spirit in nature. In meditation it is possible to change the focus
of our thoughts from the limited, fear-based perspective of our physical
brains memories and subconscious mind to the vast resources of Universal
mind. Once we experience the difference, we can tap in to Universal mind
at will and begin to function with the calm creativity of highest dimension.

· Mass mind-Based on fear, separates, rigid, self righteous, limited.
· Universal mind- based on love, unifies, flexible, unlimited, inventive.

Mass mind is the sum total of all thoughts of physical brain on this planet.
It is the accumulation of the ages into the vast cloud of thought. All
incarnated beings contribute to this. The great avatars and the mentally
retarded, the loving and the fearful all think their thoughts and contribute
to Mass mind. All are energy. All thoughts accumulate in the mental field
around the planet. Carl Jung called this the Collective Conscious.

It is difficult for one person alone, no matter how powerful his mind, to
change the vast inertia of Mass mind. It would be like pure drop of water
trying to clarify the whole ocean.

Universal mind includes all the thoughts of all the planets, stars and
galaxies. It is a frequency that flows up and down through all dimensions.
It is not bound by the 3rd dimensional problems of one tiny planet. If we
attune to that frequency, we automatically experience Unity with all that
is.

When tapping Universal mind, you can leave the stagnation of fear-based Mass
mind behind and go directly to the new imaginative ideas.

In the Universal mind there is no judgement to categorise or separate. All
individuals are honourable and worthy of respect. No energy is wasted on
attack or defence. Clear, rational, creative ideas are instantly available.
Loving, peaceful thoughts flow smoothly through mind.

Yes.

>>Prayer is a prayer. There is nothing like praying for a good cause or not

I humbly accept your compliment. LOL!!!

I don't think so !!
