Dharma,

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions for trying out my "healing"
hands. There is also another exercise someone suggested and it did work.
You hold your palms facing eachother. Then keeping the left palm facing in,
take the right hand and keeping your fingers together, run them up and down
the left palm, but about an inch or so away from the left. You can feel the
energy between your two hands as you go up and down. I have not yet tried my
hands on anyone at the office, but have on my own children. But this more as
a loving touch rather than telling them I am trying to heal them. Oh, but
one of my son's friends last summer broke his arm in my backyard. They were
jumping on my daughter's trampoline. His Mom was out and we had to wait for
her to get to my house to take him for an x-ray. But while waiting I put ice
under the injury, and laid my hand on top of his arm gently. He healed in
less than 4 weeks.. though the doctors said it should have been at least 6..
and they were very surprised at how quick he healed. The thing is, do I just
go by my instincts like this or do I definitely need formal training to learn
to do this? I am also an empath.. I tend to absorb the feelings of those
around me and do tarot readings in this way, based on feelings and
impressions. I had to learn in the beginning to shield myself from all the
negativity and emotions though because it was depressing me. So, you are
saying to basically do the same thing when laying hands on another? As for
my doctor, he actually has Reikki books and Edward Cayce books in his office
:). We have only begun to touch on this subject but I did have a dream when
I first started to work there that he touched me with his hands on my arms
and said "you are healed". He does acupuncture and acupressure. I can't
wait to get that kundalini book I ordered to him :). I like to push these
things on him gently and a little at a time. After all, he is a doctor of
Internal Medicine first, and must respect the traditional medical profession.
One more thing. I have been having excruciating headaches the past couple of
days. I felt they could be from the extreme humidity or even hormonal. But
then I kept trying to put my hands around my skull. There was great
pressure.. as if my head was in a vice. I was trying to picture the crown
opening as I feel this could be a real block for me. I imagined that violet
light pouring in and out of the crown and then felt last night as I was going
to sleep, that kundalini type "rush" or vibrations in my head. Very soothing
and exhilarating at the same time. My headache is just about
gone now. Has anyone else experienced these headaches?? They seem to
encompass almost the entire head, so it is hard to say that it could be
migraine or sinus or tension or a host of other reasons.

I appreciate so much all of your feed back. This has been a confusing time
for me but I am feeling better about all the changes now and it makes a lot
more sense.

Brightest Blessings,
Lor :)
