Subject: [K-list] K and gender / Fran

Hello all,

Due to a business trip, I have been absent this week.

>I was really upset with myself over this...so I really worked on looking at
>women more lovingly and tried to see them and myself as men might..I
thought
>ok if I were a man what would make me want to be around this person or make
>me love this person/woman..so I have been working on it....although I
>realized that I am heterosexual..and will probably stay that way, I also
>have a new view and appreciation that causes me to look I think at the
>induvidual as a unique person rather than as a gender..I think that is
great! I haven't got to that point yet, but I am working on it. I have a
bit of personal experience I would like to share. This has all happened to
me within the past year. ( I'm 31).

I am a very heterosexual female and have gone through K gender changes like
musical chairs. Oddly enough, I have had several of my K active female
friends confess an extreme sexual attraction to me when I go into my super
female essence. The very same friends (heterosexual themselves) did not
have those attractions towards me when I was in a more masculine zone, which
happened a lot for a while. Being good K friends, we just talked openly
about the situation and it has not hurt our friendships. We never acted on
any of these attractions as they were one sided. I didn't share the
attraction, but it wasn't uncomfortable for me to have them verbally express
this to me. I was honored by a friendship deep enough and honest enough to
be open and free with all of this. My friends are truly a blessing. I find
all of the experiences on this list so interesting and helpful. I
appreciate you all.

. I haven't learned how to answer and clip responses from other posts yet.
I appologize for the underlining. I don't know how to get rid of it!
