I had an experience about one year into k activity where the area of the
heart chakra became very red, and there were bumps, and also peeling of
skin. I was using some ayurvedic oils on my skin in several areas,
including this area, but I did not get the rashes or peeling in any of the
other spots. The area became more itchy and inflamed each time I practiced
meditation, so I did associate it with K activity. I discontinued use of
the oils, and the bumps and peeling continued. It stopped after about 6
months and did not return.

For six months previous to that experience, I got hives all over. These
became worse right after practicing meditation. They covered the body from
head to toe and were quiet excrutiating, and even disfiguring to my face.
I had to take antihistimines and eventually a steroid for a short period.
Doctors could not find out the cause, although then I became allergic to
all kinds of things which had not bothered me before.

After 6 months the hives went away almost overnight along with the new
allergies. They didn't return. This experience lead me to think K can
manifest almost any kind of physical symptom in its work of clearing out
systems.

Is your skin peeling in an area, or all over? I have some ayurvedic books
at home (i'm not there at the moment) and I can look up some ayurvedic
treatments for skin problems. Describe your condition a little more, will
you?
