Subject: [K-list] Saving up on the rajas ?
From: Amanda Erhart

On 1999/06/09 09:13, Amanda Erhart posted thus to the K-list:

Dear list,

I recall seeing during the health poll that K had been
accompanied with changes in hormones (menopause) for
some ppl.

I would like to hear if someone else out there have
experienced something similar as I wonder if this is
part of the process for saving up on the life force
(in females: raja) or a sign of serious imbalance.
Or an order of not being attached to the body.

The K awakening has been rather drawn out and sort of
low level but the force has been growing in strength
each week for the last 3 months. Every time I think
it*s "gone away" it comes back with greater force,
with longer lasting kriyas etc. It*s not for me to stop
the process, as as soon as I lie down to sleep, the
kriyas and K activity starts up. I cannot very well
not sleep, can I ? :)

However, the menstrual cycle seems to have stopped
completely. I*ve also lost weight without eating
less than previously, rather I*m eating more now.

I know some males experience loss of libido with
changes in the oja processes, but I wonder:
Is this a good thing when it happens in women ???

:) Ok, ok, I*m not that desperate. The period was a
pain in the b****, and I don*t miss it that much,
and it*s not as I plan having
kids, but it would be nice to know what is going on.

In addition, I*ve started being awake in dreams, not
awake as in lucid dreaming when you know you*re
dreaming and able to control the dream, but awake as in
believing I*m still in the state of wakefulness
as the waking state in dreams feels nearly exactly like
being awake in the waking state. (Except I*m not
able to meditate over my own situation in there
Maybe I should try ?).

I can clearly feel it is the K being busy to work me
even in sleep, (busy, busy K ;) )
and it is very strange falling asleep and
gliding inside dreams and being awake and confuse
it with being awake. Only when I finally wake up,
do I realize it was a dream. Everything is so clear
and detailed.

Once I even turned on the radio in my room
and listened to the music and recognized the tune being
played on the radio and told myself
"Oh, this is the .... song."

I do suspect this is K making a very persuasive and
practical point about the waking state and the dream
state as being equally unreal and illusory and I must
admit the "treatment" is proving very effective. :)

I*ve even written mails in sleep so now I am not sure
whether this is a dream or not. ;)

Thanks for any comments on the saving up on the rajas
question.

Best regards,

Amanda.
