I would agree, strictly in terms of the usage of the words: the term
"unconscious mind" is a contradiction in terms. A mind is by definition
conscious. Do you have a mind when you are unconscious? The whole
essence of being unconscious is that your mind is not operating! So,
references to the unconscious are to non-conscious things, i.e., things
other than minds, or your own mind, anyway (since you are not generally
consciously experiencing other minds directly).

Subconscious? Pre-conscious? Are these grey areas? I would regard them
as unconscious too.

Of course, there may be more than one part of the psyche that can be
conscious, but *you* will only experience *yourself* directly, not any
other bits that may also be there... But that is a different can of
worms.
