My own experience was that no chakra sensations were evident in the first 5
chakras (they were in the ajna and the crown/brain). All of the chakras below the
ajna had been processed in previous incarnations.

I have to disagree with this to a certain extent. In many people they appear to
be pierced or dissolved simultaneously because they have been dissolved in
previous incarnations. If in a previous lives you had undergone the breakdown of
the body/mind connection, say, in the bottom 3 chakras, in this life they will
not need the work that has been done previously and may unfold simulataneously or
near to.

The break down of the body/mind barriers are like learning. We learn one thing
that leads to another and another etc because this is the human way. We start in
grade 1 with primary numbers and additions because we need to learn basics before
we get to high school maths. The chakras
allow the unfolding of knowledge that is integrated bit by bit.
