It was the first day after my k broke - a beautiful February day, it had
snowed the night before but the sky had turned clear, blue even on that late
morning, unusual for winter in upstate New York, with a few clouds floating
by - I was shoveling light lake-effect snow, getting into the zen of the
movement and decided to lay down in that soft blanket that covered my
driveway and look at the clouds passing by - and a "V" for victory floated
overhead - a while later taking a break from shoveling I looked at a clear
blue patch of sky and a watermarked image of a serpent flashed before my
eyes, just for an instant, but what a glorious instant(not a cloud but heh -
couldn't resist including). But of course that was/is just more evidence
that I was/am psychotic :~).
Once in awhile, I will catch myself looking at the clouds and seeing if any
shapes pop out, nothing though, can match that glorious day 4 years ago.
About URLs, well a search turned up this little one,

watch the sky ... I searched for links relating chaos theory and clouds -
but so can you. I seem to remember stories of one of the early chaos
researchers looking at the shape of clouds out of an airplane window
wondering about predicting cloud motion and shapes - not sure if that was in
a book or on a PBS special - oh, well..... time to search my bookcases - now
that's chaos :).
