Subject: [K-list] Revisiting the past

Hi everyone,
I'm going through something unusual...revisiting my past.
A few years back, I had to completely cut myself off from my old
life...work, marriage, contacts. I died but since I was still living I
had to figure out something to do with my life so I rebuilt one that
wasn't quite so stressful and taxing, that had fewer relationships but
the relationships I had were with people who are knrw me and cared for
me minus the trappings.
For the most part, I'm comfortable and happy with my life.
This past week, I've been surprised that people and circumstances from
my old life have re-entered.
Example: went to a conference, ran into two people I used to work with
and two people from a church I attended.
Example: attended a meeting, sat in a discussion group with community
leaders whom I used to write about.
Example: am in a group and have been asked to assume a leadership role.
In my old life, I spent my time striving to be a leader, community
activitist, successful entrepreneur. I was forced to give those things
up, in hindsight, because they didn't serve my soul.
So...speaking of synchronicity...why are these people and circumstances
appearing in my life now? Am I having the opportunity to live my past
over--be confronted with the same circumstances, but this time make
different choices? Or was my soul calling me to do those things before,
only my focus was distorted?
Sigh. I'm not certain. Any insight appreciated.
