Well, I caught the motion of a chipmunk walking along the main telephone
cable high above the road - so said what does that mean and decided to log
on and get mail to see if there was a new message - why a chipmunk, do not
know, but my eye happened to glance there and noticed it, so I paid
attention.
*Soap scum may seem pretty unimportant, but it was YOU that was seeing
*meaning there... and you are important, wherever you see the meaning. If
*it feels like something you can learn from, or like a message... as a
*dream can... then I would take it seriously.
Yes, and yes it was ME that was seeing meaning in these shapes floating in
my bathtub - and I took it seriously enough - actually, I was very
captivated by the scene and it clearly seemed significant in a strange sort
of way - I suppose part of the reason that I told this story is to give yet
another example of how we can find messages in almost any form, whether it
is tea leaves, cloud formations or the activities of birds or of animals
(perhaps it is the shaman spirit in me).

*Anything to do with feet can refer to the understanding (standing under,
*get it?) or an understanding, etc. A shoe could be the cover or container
*for an understanding, whatever that may mean to you... I also think of
*"steps"...
This occurred around the time of the guru sock thread on the list - and I
suppose part of this under-stand-ing was in my sub-conscious mind.

hmm, not sure if the jester shoes had bells on them - the pixel size of the
soap scum was not up to par (just kidding). The simple, on the surface
interpretation, that I gave the scene was that the shoes represented mostly
a series of past lives, (the shoes congregated together under the faucet),
but the shoe near me that seemed to be the slowest to form and then
transformed, was my current existence. The past life shoes mingled and
disappeared from the expanding motion of a drop of water. So the
understandings that I had reached in the past were dissolving before my eyes
as a new understanding grew before my eyes - but then I have misplaced the
notes that I made - and am leaving out parts that seemed relevant at the
time - it seems now that the shoe closest to me was the old lady who lived
in the shoe, shoe, but this changed into another shoe shape after the past
life shoes were plopped on by a drop. The engineer in me was wondering
about the physics of soap scum and whether chaos theory applied and the
mechanisms that would cause a drop of water to plop at a certain time, so it
is difficult to integrate my mind into a whole, even when immersed in a pool
of mineralized well water. Oh, well.
