Dear Amanda: I was intrigued by your post to Harsha re the subject of k and
past lives, as well as by his informative response. Since you inquired about
this, I thought my own situation might have some relevance. My k opening was
at brow chakra some years ago, followed by yrs of struggle. To get some
feedback and guidance I contacted Joan Harrigan, who works with a swami in
India in providing expert analysis and guidance. Among other things, they
told me that although my energy sensation has been centered at brow chakra, k
was actually blocked at the throat chakra---that I was born with k fixed at
throat in that it had risen to that level in one or more previous lifetimes.
(They made this finding after getting all possible info.)
I was initially quite surprised at this cause prior to my k opening
I wasn't aware of any k manifestations, but they felt that the k wouldn't
have necessarily manifested signs and that the total picture was consistent
with this---and I gguess they felt this was the most logical explanation for
my k to have awakened at a higher chakra. Of course I don't know if they're
right ---I'm not aware of past life memories. It is comforting to think that
our spiritual progress--k or nonk--follows us into another life. But I pray I
can complete my k passage in this one. regards jerry
