Hi Domchi - You may have noticed that when we look at different
things from certain perspectives, often we can draw parallels,
analogies, and metaphors to give us insight into the nature
of the things we compare.
If you prefer to observe the Self in the context of "time", maybe
you'll notice certain recurring patterns, cycles, waves, rhythms,
or frequencies. When you look close enough, each one of these
patterns may remind you of a certain 'energy' or principle or sound
or color or process or... "something", which may remind you of
something else that also has that essential quality, so you think,
"Oh, maybe this is a lot like that." From your observations, you
may develop a collection of analogies and metaphors - a worldview -
which allows you to instantly 'see' many facets of whatever it is
you focus on.
'Astrologers' might simply be people whose worldview excites them to
draw parallels between cycles and characteristics of the planets
and those of the Self. Some may say that "of course!" anyone can
find parallels between the solar system and any other. "It's all
the same..." Many who believe in the Unity of All resist
explaining,
and simply observe that "astrology works" - that is, the parallels,
connections, forces, synchronicities... whatever they might be
called, are there so you notice them. As you gain familiarity
with the astrological language you may notice certain facets of the
Self that remind you of astrological symbols interacting.
As astrology absorbs an even greater role in your path, you could
continue to draw subtle insights about the Self using astrological
language, perhaps recognizing the inner friction of "mars square
sun"
and discovering how the Greater Self behaves in such a relationship.
As in any Path, an awareness of the "working" of the Self will grow,
tho the language used may vary.
